"We stayed at Pension Alice to add a few days on to a Niseko ski trip. As the location is out of town and we didn't have a car we relied on the (very friendly) proprietor to drive us up to Hirafu Welcome Centre and back each day - this works fine as long as you aren't expecting to be at the very front ..."

Great location, service; cheap furnishings
"Great location. Easy/fast access to lifts by shuttle bus. Building and facilities are new and in good condition. Staff are very helpful and attentive. Furnishings, unfortunately, are not quite up to the standard of the building: a bit cheap and spartan for the price. I expected better. The beds have ..."

"Fantastic front desk. Very helpful with requests and skiing rental. Shame the Tapas restaurant was closed but Green Farm kitchen still nice. "
"We stayed two nights at Chalet Ivy Hirafu. We loved it and had an amazing stay. Thank you so much for the great hospitality. It will be our go-to choice when we visit Niseko again.
The room was spacious and there were plenty of in-room amenities that are so thoughtful. The onsen was wonderful and clean, especially loved the outdoor onsen. The service was top-notched, all the staff were super helpful and the shuttle service was so convenient to bring guests back and forth the ski area or Kutchan station, it was basically on demand and not limited to a fixed schedule. Breakfast was great too and the wine vending machine was awesome. Thank you! "
"The location is the biggest draw for this hotel. The staff are excellent, friendly, and well trained. The food was delicious. That being said the rooms are a bit outdated and the onsen area is small and disappointing. "

"What a lovely modern hotel, in a convenient location! Ample onsite parking and smooth communication with English speaking front desk staff.
The rooms are very modern and comfortable with lots of outlets which isn't always a given in Japan.
The only small downside is that there were mugs and a kettle, but no tea bags in the room.
Other than that, a thoroughly recommended stay."
"Would recommend car, but great place to stay with wonderful views of Mt. Yotei. Not much in area but still a great place to stay if you like countryside. Wide and spacious rooms with spa! Service was nice as well. "
