"Such a lovely place with a lot of history. Incredible staff and they helped me a lot, especially with getting back back-and-forth to the tank museum and the train station. Excellent breakfast highly recommend"

"Second stay, again excellent all round"

"This was my favorite place to stay while in Britain. The owners are wonderful, the food was the BEST I ate in the country, and the atmosphere was perfect."

"Lovely clean large room. Great tv with a superb picture. Plenty of tea / coffee and biscuits welcome tray. We were surprised how quiet our sleep was, the pub below was busy but no sound from it. The decoration of the whole venue is incredible with so much to look at. There is a lot of car spaces but the area is very busy so it’s a bit of a search to find one."

"Good parking at the hotel and outside , very nice area with good walking potential. Great vibrant pub / dining area."

"The hotel itself was really nice, with the old beams running along the roof, the staff were very friendly and welcoming. The bar was definitely well stocked for all occasions, staff were very chatty."

"The place needs a face lift, a room over a pub that looks tired. However the staff are brilliant, so lovely and helpful. The food is good value for money, pub grub. Location is great if you want the beach. If you like a good walk, 3.5mins (1hr 15 mins) to Bournemouth Pier."

"The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. They went above and beyond when were stranded due to the storm and needed to extend our stay. The hotel was clean and facilities were perfect for our stay- thank you!"
