Looked like it had seen better days - clear signs of people trying hard to keep the place clean and fresh but it had a TV from the 80s and few comforts in the room. The only thing that would put me off staying again is the mattress which was the worst I've ever slept on. My partner weighs around 90kg - he lay down and sank into the bed, causing a massive dip. "Second time staying at this hotel and it didn’t disappoint…not always possible but at 11.30 our room was ready and allocated when we checked in … lovely staff in all areas, breakfast was excellent, room was spotless .. the decor around the hotel is stylish and has bham city centre on the doorstep "
