"The apartment was fairly spacious and clean. I was happy with the apartment, but there were a number of problems with the location. The apartment was located on the second floor beside a busy road. That was OK, but on the other side of the road is a wine bar, where the patrons like to chat quite loudly until 5 am in the morning. "Hotel is in a great location with plenty of public transport options, the room was bright, clean and comfortable, and the reception area and bar/lounge felt lovely. The whole pool area is small and feels tired but it’s a good facility to have. Was disappointed with the food - breakfast items just didn’t taste fresh. And ordered a meal on room service which tasted and felt like reheated food. Disappointing considering the cost of the stay but otherwise good."

"The staff were extremely helpful, when we checked in we were greeted by a really lovely man who was very helpful and made check in extremely easy. The hotel is in a great location and wasn’t far from anywhere. The room itself was very comfy and everything we needed was provided. Later on I went down to the bar and the staff were really helpful in providing some drinks. All in all, I don’t have any bad things to say about the hotel. 10/10 would highly recommend!"

"This was probably as good of an experience as one can expect in a hostel. The property was well maintained, including clean showers, and comfortable beds. There weee lots of amenities, including a coworking space and library. And we received 15% off at the bar and restaurant downstairs. The staff were welcoming and helpful. When I messed up my locker, the front desk attendant, Clancy, was happy to come up to the third floor to unlock it for me, for which I was grateful. It is also in a central location. I recommend it if you need a budget friendly option while in Edinburgh."
