"Skye is a magical place and staying at this property was the most wonderful experience! The property is located in the middle of sheep farms and gorgeous scenery! The house has been renovated and beautifully decorated. The host, Lorraine, was extremely helpful and responsive to all of our inquiries. "We loved our stay at Ridge Edge Cottage! The neighbors (and their dog) were wonderful and it was so fun to live among the locals for a few nights. You have everything you need here including a washing machine (no dryer). The dishes were not all clean in the cabinet but that was an easy fix with the dish soap provided. It is quite far from Portree (45-60 minutes) but well worth the drive. "
