Another review mentioned that it feels like the end of the world, and it really does. It was nice to talk to Alan the Crofter and pet his family of collies as well. "

"The welcome by Linda was warm and personable and even though I arrived a bit early, my room was ready. I stayed in a single twin bed, it was comfortable and there was plenty of space for luggage, etc. The bathroom was newly renovated and the tiles and fixtures are top quality--best shower in Scotland! Well stocked coffee & tea station--specialty herbal teas and hot coco! Breakfast was delicious with a multitude of options. If you want porridge order the night before. It is a bit out of the center but very walkable. Great 3-day stay! Will definitely return!!!"
