Booked for one night to attend a family wedding, check in via the bar, lady came straight out and explained that all the rooms were full, so as we were a family had upgraded us to Hannah House, a complete massive cottage to the three of us, It was beautiful and we could have slept 11 people in it, so rustic and full of charm lovely and peacefully we were so impressed. Stayed here while visiting Cambridge for a few days. Great hotel with lovely bar and restaurant area and Starbucks. We had lunch in the bar on arrival and dinner in the restaurant the following night and the food was excellent in both. My only niggle would be that the service was a bit slow at times. A great location for Cambridge and the surrounding areas. I had a very early train to catch at the adjacent station the following morning and preferred to stay overnight rather than have to get up at 3am to travel from home. Ample parking immediately next door in the station carpark. Speedy check in. The hotel was fantastic and exactly what we were looking for. Good facilities and close to Cambridge. The breakfast was lovely, we didn't eat any other meals at the hotel as was a little expensive. The room we stayed in was beautiful but did get very hot even though we had the windows open and curtains closed to stop the sun coming in, but this certainly wouldn't deter me from going back. Lovely accomodation. Really quiet, easy to find and park and clear check instructions given the day before. The garden was well maintained - we had a lovely room opening out onto the back. A little gem! Hospitable, great food, well stocked bar, comfortable bed and a good shower. Parking a little sketchy if you're arriving after dark, but a good welcome, clear instructions and helped up the stairs to my room. Dog welcome too (no charge).
