Check-in was friendly and professional and although we arrived early this was not a problem. Excellent Car Parking facilities provided good access to the accommodation. The Apartment was located up several stairs without a lift option so worth considering if you have walking difficulties. "Generally the hotel was clean Not enough soap in the bathroom for 2 consecutive nights. Clothing from previous guest left on floor and a piece of furniture had a dirty mark on it that looked like dried on sick."

"Overall we had a great time and for the price we paid I do feel it was great value for money. Pros: friendly staff, clean room, great food, great history of the building and the pool and steam room was amazing. Breakfast was superb! Cons: (but nothing bad that would stop me going again just slight tweaks I feel would help) grounds are amazing but need some attention, sauna was either not working properly or was simply running too low, food and staff in Huntleys restaurant were fab however the room the restaurant in is so nice little things like wires hanging down the wall and seats where the view was let it down, the space could be used a lot better. I feel it’s a solid high end 3 star hotel and misses the critical touches of a 4 star however I’ve given it a 4 purely down to the staff as they were so accommodating."

"For what it was, and they were entirely open about the lack of dining options, it was a delightful stay. Rooms were compact but clean, gardens were lovely and there was an exceptionally well signposted footpath led to the local pub. The pool was quaint, basic but quite pretty. Staff were friendly and helpful. Location to the park and ride meant it was extremely easy to get into Central Cambridge."
