We had a wonderful stay at this lovely family-run B&B. The property is beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean, and full of charm and character. The owners have clearly put a lot of thought into ensuring guests have everything they need for a comfortable stay. The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection and freshly prepared food, both hot and cold; fruit, yoghurts, what ever you require! The facilities are modern, warm, well maintained, and equipped with all the little extras that make...

We couldn’t believe our luck when we pulled up at this hotel. The staff were really welcoming, friendly and informative. The room was comfortable and contained everything we needed. The location was superb in the grounds and in the surrounding area. The breakfasts were so tasty and there was so much choice. We had our dog with us which was not a problem at all. We loved it so much we stayed an extra night and even then didn’t want to go home!

Stayed for two nights and the was very friendly and inviting. Would definitely stay again.

I was a bit concerned about check in arrangements but no problem as owner lives on site. He gave us a warm welcome and made suggestions about where to eat in town. Room was clean and very spacious with seating area and pleasant outlook. Soft furnishings were a bit dated and could be improved. Breakfast was excellent with friendly and welcoming staff. There was parking on site.

Really enjoyed our 2 night b&b stay at the Huntingdon house hotel in Dumfries. Perfect position for Dumfries town centre. And dunfries train station. Large car park. Hotel has a bar area, with outdoor seating overlooking front garden. Our room was very comfortable with double bed. Ensuite large shower room. Bathrobes. Plenty of tea/coffee. Breakfast was excellent with plenty of choice to choose from. And the owners and staff are wonderful. Will stay again and will recommend.

Amanda, the hotel owner was friendly, kind, helpful and understanding. She searched for more taxi numbers online for me as the numbers I had called earlier stated no taxi was available due to being on Sunday. She even went on to say if no taxi (taxis on Sundays are difficult to get) she would drive me to my destination from 9:30am when the breakfast time would be over. This is a good act of kindness. Fortunately, I was able to get a taxi at 9am who took me to my destination.

Beautiful room with lovely toiletries. Staff were all very friendly, particularly the breakfast staff, and a very good choice at breakfast too

Absolutely gorgeous room. Perfect for a cheeky night away. Delicious cooked breakfast.

Would highly recommend this hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive, food was excellent and very reasonably priced, the decor and comfort of the rooms was of a very high standard. Would book this hote again.

Enjoyable three night break. Friendly helpful staff. Very comfortable bed , room cleaned every day and were allowed to park at the hotel next door. As previously mentioned they serve a great breakfast . Five minute drive to town centre but pub and takeaway nearby. Will book again next time that we visit Dumfries.

Room was clean room and Staff very hospitable and a Business-friendly environment although location is a bit off road but accessible. Will patronize again when going to Scotland

The room was very pleasant and clean with an excellent shower with plenty of hot water. The staff were all very pleasant. The breakfast was good and I would definately use this hotel again. The hotel is in an ideal position for the Town Centre.

Lovely room very comfortable bed, heating was good, bathroom ok, shower was hot, lovely view from the room, we had a small balcony which was lovely, usually you can use services next door but due to COVID only Mac Donald’s available. It’s the first time using days inn but would use days inn again for staying over.

Excellent service from the ladies who run the inn

Hotel was very clean and comfortable; staff were very friendly and polite, would definitely recommend for a visit

Staff were friendly and helpful and seemed to genuinely want you to have a pleasant stay - which I did. Breakfast was excellent.

Beautiful hotel set in stunning gardens. The room was large, clean and had everything you needed for an overnight stay. The bathroom was also large with a great strong shower. There were toiletries supplied along with a hairdryer. The room was a bit damp smelling but I think maybe just a couple of hours with the window open before arrival would have solved that as no damp in the room. The hotel was quiet and had a relaxed feel. Would definitely go again

Friendly and helpful staff. Lovely room and great food. We had a lovely stay.
