"The hotel and staff are amazing. A little quaint at first but that definitely grows on you. Tony the pianist was fantastic and played almost 5 hours solid with just a very short break. Reception area for check in/out is very odd like you are not sure you're doing things right. Breakfast was a major disappointment - the full Scottish was stingy in portion size (half a slice of bacon, skinny sausage and dry potato scone) and the guacamole for eggs benedict seemed shop bought. The room, gardens and surroundings were beautiful. Will come back but little areas to improve on."

Easy pedestrian access to the nearby charming town centre . Highly recommended and well worthy of repeat visits."

"The staff were so friendly and helpful and even took our bags to our room while we visited the tien . It made our stay very comfortable and enjoyable. The rooms too were very comfortable with huge windows looking out to the Firth of Forth. "
