"Charming old hotel with modern amenities. We were upgraded to the Victorian Suite which was a large room with vanity area and sitting area. The front desk was very accommodating and they answered all my texts prior to arrival. "
"The place was great… totally felt like I was in an Agatha Christie novel… great vegan options too… my room was cute and clean… only complaint was the obvious damage of something previous on the ceiling so it felt a little less special. "
"An amazing space to just be & chill out. B & B with decking, area with seating , cosy log cabin & spacious garden area overlooking tranquil loch. Seals can be seen bobbing about & red squirrels are a frequent visitor to the garden. The hosts are exceptionally welcoming and the breakfast includes croissants, fresh fruit & Loch Fyne smoked salmon.
The rooms are well appointed and spotlessly clean.
There are nearby walks including at Carrick Castle and Donich Falls. The village pub often has...

"Always a warm welcome, comfy beds, very quiet and peaceful. Staff really go the extra mile. Even brought us plates and cutlery for our takeaway. Lovely old place. "
Kevington Cottage, charming one bedroom cottage, conservatory, decking area,
10/10 Excellent
"This is a charming cottage located just outside of Dunoon. The space may seem awkward but is ingeniously designed for good natural light and airflow. The garden is stunning and the conservatory is where I spent most of my time. The house was spotless upon arrival, though some of the dishes were not which is, of course, a reflection on previous occupants, not the owner/cleaner. Glen Oirig, inviting upper level apartment with sea views
10/10 Excellent
"Beautifully laid out spacious apartment, with everything you except and soo much more. Ideal for visiting all the local sites whether forests, lochs or beaches. Shop opposite is really useful if you run out of anything. Information pack about apartment was clear to understand. Highly recommended. "
"Lovely lodge in a beautiful part of the country with stunning views. Everything you need for a comfortable stay. Nice outside space when weather good. Good communication from owner who responded to any queries very quickly. "
"A lovely place to stay in Hunter's Quay. Convenient for ferry and boat and with a beautiful view, I enjoyed a quiet few days walking with my dog around Dunoon and took the bus to the Botanics. "
"Liked the quirkiness of the cottage. Like the art work around the rooms, liked they left us milk on arrival. Good instructions on how to get there.
The road surface was pretty rough and you had to be very careful when parking.
Didnt like the lack of lights at night
We arrived when it was dark and the outside light wasnt working made it difficult to see the path had to use torch on my phone.
The cottage was small but nice, it was clean and linens smelled freshly washed. It was very quiet. The kitchen had everthing you needed and everyhting was clean.
however a few handles off the cupboard and drawers , drawers really stiff, shower didnt stay up , so you had to hold it to wash yourself.
Found the spring mattress uncomfortable.
