Loch Long Hotel

"Good clean room with a bathroom with a window which I love. Staff were very friendly and helpful and there was a great Indian restaurant on site. Our room overlooked the end of the loch and was very quiet. Free on site car parking available and cafes and bars across the road for lunches."
Duck Bay Hotel

"The Duck Bay hotel is a beautiful place set in wonderful surroundings. Our room and the hotel itself was spotless, breakfast was very good with lots of choice, the staff are helpful and extremely nice, they can’t do enough for you. Parking outside the hotel is limited, we have a blue badge and managed to get a disabled space most days. We ate in the Hotel restaurant every night. Good varied menu , again lovely settings, it’s very busy as it’s open to the public but we never waited too long, the service was excellent. The outside of the hotel is stunning with lovely floral arrangement. Will definitely return"

"Lovely sea loch views from front facing rooms and terrace balcony at front of building, however the building is in need of investment and renovations to repair the exterior damage."

"The room and bathroom was brilliant, clean, modern, lots of plugs and charging points. Didn’t work out how to use the heating. Breakfast was poor for a 4star. Muesli tasted like cardboard. The orange juice tasted like diluting juice/squash or poor quality at best. Toast machine not good."

"There could be a bigger fridge and also a freezer would be handy. A oven and hob would be useful in the kitchen instead of a wee kinda air fryer."
