Bunkhouse Bournemouth - Hostel
2.0 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (1)
"The hostel is very close (a few minutes on foot) to the beach and to the town centre (important: for the town centre go the opposite way from the way to the beach:) You will get there in a few minutes on foot rather than half an hour or so going in a long circle - as I did with my kids! - the other way). The rooms are very secure with their own individual code to press on a panel. The owners are friendly and discreet and they leave you alone. The rooms are clean and comfortable, if a bit basic...

Peartree Serviced Apartments
3.5 star property
9.6 out of 10, Exceptional, (222)
"Great lodging! A very short walk from the train station, and yet very quiet. Smelled fresh, very clean. Our 1 bedroom was terrific. Full kitchen, living space with couch and tall desk table. Bathroom tiny but worked for us…and so clean! Bed was comfy. Front desk person was kind and welcoming. This place was ideal for a one night stay AND would be terrific as a base for several nights while exploring the area. Easy train to Southampton, and also to Bath. Busses that go to Stonehenge. 9.8 out of 10, Exceptional, (170)
"Nine adults and 6 young children all had a great time. Only one day warm enough for the pool but lots to do locally for kids and within an hours drive. House very well provisioned and wanting for nothing except very localised WiFi. Would go back."

The Cliff House
4.0 star property
9.4 out of 10, Exceptional, (342)
"The staff are all lovely - this is the 2nd time I have stayed here as it's close for visiting relations. Rooms are lovely except that you can't really open the windows (in the rooms I've been in) as they open over the roof where the extracted fans are for the kitchen :( Food is excellent - had breakfast & evening meals there. Will definately stay here again!"
