Suzanne and John were really thoughtful in sharing that there was unexpected roadwork outside the cottage, giving us the opportunity to find another place to stay but we decided to go ahead and are so glad that we did. "Lovely old cottage, furnished well with a nice kitchen having everything you need for eating in (except for a sieve or collander). Clay tiles on ground floor make the floor cold so bring slippers in low season. Some very low beams so tall people beware. Couldn't light the gas fire though. Surprised to find slow-moving bees on window sills or on floor each day when returning from day out."

"We have just returned from an absolutely fabulous stay at Harkstead Hall. The house is beautiful. Spacious and has absolutely everything you need for a fun stay with friends. "Our party enjoyed the comfort and coziness of this 500 yr old property. We loved walking in the parkland and sitting by the roaring fire. Everyone in our group was able to enjoy day trips and we were close to the family wedding we attended. The countryside is gorgeous and serene and the nights a quiet. Lovely place. Highly recommend."

"A perfect barn conversion giving you everything you need for a peaceful break away from everything. A friendly welcome from the host shortly after arrival who gave us really useful info on the local area etc. The barn itself is perfect and gives you everything you'd need for the perfect break. "The Tallow Factory is a wonderful character-filled place for a family or group gathering, in the heart of Dedham Village and the surrounding Dedham Vale. The ground floor has three comfortable entertaining areas, if you include the walled garden along with the wood beamed lounge and large country kitchen. Upstairs easily sleeps 8-10 people. The neighboring Sun Inn serves excellent food. Thoroughly recommend!!"

"When it says “ Sea View” it means it . Clear view of the bay all the way to the Port of Felixstowe. Very close ( 100 metres) to the beach but on a quiet campus away from the noisy seaside “ attractions “. It is the old Sanitorium to the now closed Felixstowe College. As such the doors and corridors are wide and the rooms spacious. Each room has a door onto the private patio. The rest of the campus seems to be posh flats . "The house in Point Clear Bay is exactly as described. We booked for a family of 6 (2 kids and 2 grandparents) and they all loved the location. Sitting outside by the large doors overlooking the sea was fantastic. The sunset and moon views were great and it was very relaxing watching the tides change. The house is very well equipped with notes, guides, amenities and welcome basket of goodies. I can recommend crabbing by the sea when the tide is almost high, and a walk around the peninsula....
