"Great location and amenities "

"For a "Zone 1" hotel... my experience was horrible as a first time international guest. The standard queen room is so small and I was mortified to find a disgusting scene in the toilet meaning there are serious health, sanitation and hygiene issues here. Clearly the room was not cleaned properly and you can only assume everything in the bathroom was dirty. I felt physically ill and requested another room. This room also did not have a functioning US outlet meaning I would have to purchase a converter as they do not provide guests with any. So you pay out of pocket for their dysfunctions and inconveniencing you as a guest. They said they would send up a maintenance worker but one never came in the time I was still in there. What would they do? They told me they had no other rooms and were booked full. The towels had holes and yellowish and bluish stains! Disgusting. Once I reported the toilet waste issue they moved me to another room and for this inconvenience gave me a drink voucher...which most all hotels ive stayed at welcome you with anyway. Unbelievable. I was moved to another queen room- yes so they lied to me less than 30 minutes before. I asked to speak to a duty manager regarding these issues and one did speak with me directly over the phone and in person gifting me with edible amenities as an apology. They offered to take 30% off the total. That is not acceptable. Im waiting to hear back regarding a more acceptable resolution. Let's see what their guests are worth."

"Booked the single room with no window. The room was obviously small, but was spotlessly clean, had everything you needed and the air conditioning worked. The shower room was also a decent size. The staff were very attentive and welcoming."

"The location and lobby of this hotel were fantastic. The doorman was so incredibly friendly and helpful (wish I could recall his name). The bars and restaurants were great. However, the room itself was tired. Carpet needed to be replaced, furniture was worn, very few plugs in the room, etc. The bathroom was large but the shower was tiny, and the tile needed a deep cleaning, or replacing. The room was relatively quiet, which was nice. Housecleaning needed to be a little more consistent. Found a candy bar in the chair, someone else’s soap in the shower, and they were inconsistent with leaving caffeinated coffee. Bed was comfortable. Room service food quality after midnight was atrocious (jet lag). The chicken on the Caesar salad was grey, and the lettuce was wilted. "
