"The accommodation itself was fantastic and exactly as described. It was a lovely property and somewhere I would happily consider staying again. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and communication let the stay down. We checked in at around 7:30pm and discovered the property had not been cleaned after the previous guests. There was no clean bedding and no towels, meaning we couldn’t sleep in the bed or have a shower. We therefore had to sleep on the settee and had a very poor night’s sleep. I contacted the property management company that evening and was told someone would attend first thing the following morning, but nobody arrived. I had to chase several times and was repeatedly promised callbacks that never happened. I also requested a call from a manager, which I never received. Eventually, later that afternoon, a cleaner contacted me directly and came to rectify everything. I do feel this may not have happened without me continually chasing. To their credit, the company refunded our first night’s stay and provided a bottle of Prosecco as an apology, both of which were appreciated. Overall, the property itself was excellent. I would probably stay again, but hopefully next time it would be properly cleaned and prepared before check-in."

"The accommodation was excellent. Very clean with good quality furniture and linens. There was plenty of crockery, glasses and cutlery so very comfortable all round. A pleasant 20 minute walk took us into the town centre. There was a very comprehensive pack of information provided including suggested pubs, coffee shops and restaurants."

"We loved our stay at Priory Barn and were welcomed by a lovely complementary basket of wine and snacks. The barn itself is very characterful and ideal for big family groups. "We had an amazing stay at this beautiful barn. Our son was getting married and it was a perfect stay for a group of family and friends. The garden is a delight and so relaxing . Eating breakfast outside , playing pool in the games room , chilling out together in the lovely sitting room. A quirky , wonderful place to stay. We will definitely come again."

"A lovely secluded property with rural views, secure parking and no neighbours except for the pheasants and woodland birds! Despite the very cold weather conditions, it was warm and cosy, as well as offering all the comforts of home. The fridge/freezer was a good size and the kitchen facilities were more than sufficient for our needs, so that we could self-cater without having to go out to eat. The WIFI signal was really good and reliable. The bed was comfortable. We only noticed the airplane noise on our last day, and living in the flight-path of Luton airport at home it didn't matter to us at all!"
