"We never actually stayed here. We had to book another place in the few days running up to our visit as it turned out that the location of this property had been wrongly advertised and the actual location was over 30 minute drive from where we were meant to be staying. We had already paid for this and the communication between the website and ourselves has been poor. We are still waiting for a full refund. I will not be using this website in the future and will go back to more trusted methods of booking holiday homes."

"Check in open between 4.30 - 8.00pm - I called in early to ask for a later check in - was shown my room, given front door key to let myself in. Very accommodating. Great breakfast choices too. This was a great last minute booking - a wee gem of a place. "

The cabin is beautifully designed, cozy, and surrounded by peaceful nature—ideal for unwinding after a busy day. Joanne, the hostess, was phenomenal: warm, welcoming, and attentive, making the whole experience feel effortless and relaxing. Each evening, I took walks through the surrounding area, which was tranquil and scenic—a perfect way to disconnect and recharge. The neighbours, Mr. Darcy and Jimmy, were an unexpected delight and added so much charm to the stay. Their friendly presence made the experience feel even more special. This place is a true gem, whether you’re visiting for work, rest, or a bit of both. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat and will definitely be returning. "The property is neat and tidy. Everything we needed are provided, e.g. toiletries, hair dryer, all basic cooking utensils with seasoning as well. It is located in a small town, which is quiet. Also, it is between Glasgow and Edinburg, which is good to visit both places. Driving is a must."
