Shopping paradise I've stayed here before and will again. Helpful staff, great buffet breakfast, clean and tidy throughout with underground parking which is subsidised. If you want a outlet type shopping experience with an overnight stay you can't really get much better. With the bars and restaurants close by and ...

Room was clean and well fitted and laid out with everything you could want. Only real criticism was in the bathroom the thick glass shelf mounted over the sink which was completely in the way when ...

Weekend break Clean and comfortable, but how this hotel retains 4 * is questionable. Basic facilities with very high prices for food drink etc. Staff could not have been nicer though, very professional and courteous at all times. A bit of a tired building from the early 80's

Good location We stayed here on Friday to attend the Royal Blood gig at the O2 Guildhall. Parking was easy, and we were very pleased to find a TGI Fridays on the doorstep! Pocket Guide: Family Friendly Hotels in Hampshire

Home to the spectacular wilds of the new forest, some fantastic beaches and an assorted array of family-friendly attractions, Hampshire has something for guests of all ages. Thankfully, there is also an extensive selection of family-friendly hotels to choose from, ranging from cheap and cheerful chain-lead accommodation to lavish and elegant country houses. Whatever your taste and budget, there's sure to be something to suit.

Family-Friendly Hotels in Hampshire

If you're visiting Hampshire for a special occasion on simply want to treat your loved ones to a slice of the high life, the Four Seasons Hotel Hampshire is the cream of luxury, family-friendly hotels in the area. Housed in a Georgian mansion, this is an incredibly modern hotel, offering the perfect fusion of past and present. There are some attractions in the area, but this is one of those hotels you don't need to leave, in order to enjoy yourself. The Four Seasons Hampshire runs programmes of events for families, such as horse-riding, swimming and kite-flying, as well as supervised activities for kids. With the little ones busy, all that parents need to do is book a treatment or two at the on-site spa and relax!

Mid-Range Hotels

However, if you'd rather be near local landmarks and attractions and don't want to blow your entire budget on accommodation, there are plenty of mid-range, family-friendly hotels in Hampshire too. The Hilton Southampton Hotel is well placed to enjoy all that the city has to offer, from the shops, bars and restaurants at the unique West Quay shopping centre, to the New Forest Wildlife Park and the Southampton Guildhall. Similarly, the Holiday Inn Express Southampton West offers unpretentious lodgings and easy access to all these attractions and more. Both these hotels are affordable and attractive places to stay.

Hampshire's Most Famous Pig

Eating out can be a big drain on your budget, when travelling as a family. Booking a room in a family-friendly Hampshire Hotel with a restaurant means that you'll have access to child menus and your room is only a walk or lift-ride away. Not only does the Marwell Hotel, in Winchester, offer just that, but it'll even organise activity packs, children's movies and, as an added bonus, Peppa Pig World is a short drive away.

Hampshire offers fascination and fun for all the family. Booking into a family-friendly hotel is the best way to get the most from your time away from home.
