"Reasonable, even if a bit tired looking."
I stayed at here whilst on a course at work. The reception staff were excellent, as were the bar and restaurant staff. The room was a reasonable size, and I liked the patio door which led out to a veranda. On the downside, the room had no air conditioning which meant that sleeping was uncomfortable. The bathroom was also dated and the sink had cracks in it. The menu was adequate without being outstanding, but service was prompt and friendly. I paid £72 including breakfast, and that is about right for this hotel.

"Very quiet"
The room was spotless and the breakfast was lovely. The hotel is situated in a very quiet location which was helpful as we needed the windows open as it was so hot. Although there was a pull out sofa bed I think family rooms need to have the option for a triple room as my 13 year old had to share the sofa with her 5 year old sister who wriggles. The room wasn't large which wasn't a problem as it was designed well but the fact there was no air conditioning or fans & there were duvets on the bed made for an extremely uncomfortable hot night. The beds were comfortable though & as we literally turned up went to bed and left first thing it wasn't really a problem but I wouldn't have been comfortable staying longer.

"A place in paradise!"
What a lovely place! If you love cycling or walking or just listening to the sounds of wildlife this is the perfect spot. The family make their own cider which you can buy from their little store. There are bees, geese and lovely old pigs nearby. We saw baby deer is the field next door many times. At night I'd sit out listening to the owls calling each other. The breakfast is fabulous too, including their own apple juice and honey. The check-in is casual, all we had to do was open the door of the B&B and our name was on a board with the room number and the key was in the door. So don't fret if you cant see anyone immediately they will just be next door in their tea room so they are close at hand if you need them. I would definitely return here, lovely place to stay!
