Exceeded all my expectations.

Haven’t been to Aviator Hampshire for a number of years, but it was just as lovely as I remembered. Room, Sky Bar, Breakfast, Staff - all exceptional. Special mention to Will on the front desk and Poppy who was assisting with breakfast in the morning. I’d highly recommend and I plan to return in the near future. Thank you!

Amazing for families, lots of space to play and run. Pools were great. Food lovely.

So good we booked a 3rd night

Staff were lovely. Had a long drive and arrived on the cutoff for ordering dinner, but thankfully the staff were kind enough to still let us order. We had both dinner and breakfast, both were absolutely delicious. There was some games we could borrow which we enjoyed playing in the bar, only small disadvantage is the bar closed at 10:30. Room was very clean, stocked with tea and coffee and the extra pillows in the wardrobe was a nice addition. Overall, we had a very peaceful, relaxing stay.

Bit off the beaten track but well worth making the diversion for. Staff very hospitable. Room clean with welcoming chocolates and a decanter with a decent measure of whiskey. Bed comfortable and bathroom stocked with necessities. Food first class and a good selection of beers and ales. Ideal for business to unwind (good wifi all over). Good for romantic ramblers/cyclists.

This was our first stay at the hotel-although we had stayed at Pennyhill Park. Three adults and a small Maltese Terrier with adjoining rooms for a five night stay. We found the hotel to be absolutely brilliant. Customer service was first class and could not be faulted. The rooms were extremely comfortable and clean-bathroom toiletries were replaced daily. This is a unique and characteristic hotel with lots of history and amazing architecture. The scenery, gardens and the estate overall are simply gorgeous. The spa and the outdoor pool area is also very nice especially in good weather (it may be difficult to find a lounger when it is sunny though). The room I stayed in was nicely decorated with wood panellings and period furnitures; bed was very comfortable as well. From the moment we checked in the whole stay was second to none, normally this is a one or perhaps two night stay but we had about a week there. The staff were so helpful and very courteous on all levels, the room was clean and lovely bath towels provided. We used the hotel as a base to visit the Bombay Sapphire gin factory which was very close by. It was an emotional visit for me as i last saw the hotel as my boarding school in 1968 I also fount my initials carved on a wall I remember this even after 48 years The hotel was fantastic we enjoyed our stay for one night and had a lovely breakfast. We had a lovely stay at Bosun's Chair and would highly recommend it. The location is excellent, making it easy to explore the local area and enjoy everything nearby. A beautiful room in a delightful hotel, set in the heart of Winchester and so walking distance of shops, restaurants and the cathedral. There were lovely touches in the room including bottled water on the bedside tables and a well-stocked cupboard including iron, ironing board and a hairdryer. The bathroom had towelling robes, shower caps and nice toiletries. All members of staff were extremely polite and courteous.
