I was deeply touched by the care and attention shown by the entire staff -the front desk (Jerry was best), housekeepers, buffet staff and manager. Clean rooms with all amenities and fully stocked with supplies ranging from toothbrushes to slippers. Bottled water was also provided. Famous Pear Soup is always available as a light local treat at any time of the day. Laundry is also free here. The morning buffet is delicious and varied- available every day with options to suit every taste. On the second floor there is a restaurant with magnificent local dinner cuisine. I highly suggest this hotel as a wonderful place to stay. Will definitely return the next time I am in Shanghai.
