The staff were not engaged at all and the service at breakfast each day was very poor. They had to ask for bowls for cereal and the pastries had run out mid way through service and had to get more prepared. Staff were not visible and tables left for long periods of time before eventually being cleared. They seemed very uninterested in making the stay a pleasure for the guests. The one main dinner they had was adequate but not good. The swimming pool changing rooms were not clean with toilets out of order and the smell of drains, towels very thin. No shampoo in the rooms and curtains that didn't drawer easily. Towel rail was stained and looked old. The general condition of the room and hotel in general was poor. I booked a deluxe room but it didn't look very deluxe. It seemed like they were constantly penny pinching and suggested the resort is under serious financial pressure. The mud treatment they booked was not worth it as the mud product was too dry and didn't spread across the skin. Most ended up on the floor as it dropped off. All in all it was not the treat I hoped to give my wife and daughter and I am disappointed to have used my one key cash on it."
