"The place itself it's amazing, with stunning surroundings, great play ground for kids , coffee and bar just steps away. the property itself is dated, in need of serious cleaning, but it was cozy and warm. We found a welcome pack with some coffee sachets, sugar and drinking chocolate. Thank you All the essentials to cook breakfast and dinner were there . "The owner only sent entry instructions after i emailed the day before asking about them. Hotels.com said pets stayed for free but we were charged £7 per night. We couldn't get the shower to warm up. There were no instructions for anything in the cabin. The beds are very small doubles. Strangely there was no kettle in the lodge. It needs a lot of TLC. One positive is the setting is stunning. It's well overpriced for what you get. "
