Beautiful room, very comfortable and immaculate. There is a very nice village pub with great food in the building. Dog friendly. Very welcoming. We will definitely stay here again.
We stayed with our dog for 1 night in Room 7, great size and very clean.
Nice friendly atmosphere, would definitely visit again!

Thank you for your review. We are glad you enjoyed your stay, it was a pleasure to meet you and we look forward to being able to welcome you back again another time.
Hurtwood Hotel was absolutely lovely, set in a wonderful location. The staff were so helpful and the breakfast was fantastic. After my girlfriend left an item of jewellery behind the staff called us and promptly posted it to our home.
We would definitely recommend this hotel. And we will be returning.
Just an overnight stay following a walk in the Surrey hills. Gorgeous room, big bed with good linen, very comfortable.
Breakfast really good and plentiful.
The hotel itself doesn’t do food apart from breakfast but the adjoining Hurtwood Inn did great food
We had a 2 night stay at the Hurtwood hotel last weekend. Lovely hotel and the room was nice and cosy. Huge bed! I found the bed a little hard but my husband liked it. The breakfast was lovely and staff very helpful and polite. The only downside was being woken at 8am on the Saturday morning as the pub next door was taking a delivery and the staff were shouting, chatting and laughing loudly (we were in room 8). Not the hotels fault and kind of expected some noise due to the hotel being next to the pub. We ate at the pub and the food was lovely. Would definitely return.
Great little hotel, rooms are big and have a great bed

Disliked: Property conditions & facilities
Overpriced , no king size bed rather two smaller beds pushed together and uncomfortable, bathroom facilities are basic , poor shower (low water pressure and mechanism not really functioning v well) ...helpful receptionist good breakfast .
Fab little hotel with lovely pub next door (although pub food was great it was London prices!)
Rooms were roomy and beds very comfortable. they were very flexible with our 2 year old providing a pull out bed in the room, and little chair and children knife and fork at breakfast.
Breakfast was delicious, fresh berries and lovely full english.
Definitely be back!
Just one night on business trip, nice big room, clean and comfortable, got loads of work done with good wi-fi access and in peace and quiet.
Pub next door is good - the hotel and pub are separate, pub has an Italian menu.
Breakfast in the hotel is great. Will certainly book again.
Lovely place but in view of the very hot weather we had the windows wide open. As the room was directly above the front of the pub we were disturbed by the noise from patrons. Although it did not spoil our stay it is something some people might want to consider when booking here.
Love this beautiful place with amazing service. Couldn’t find any air conditioning and everything in this sleepy place closes early but this place is amazing and wonderful. Would more than recommend it for anyone who is planning a visit to the English countryside
Beautiful location, excellent and comfortable rooms which well equipped. Friendly and helpful staff. All good . Lovely place to stay and enjoy the local countryside.
Everything about this Hotel was great - especially the staff. The next-door Pub was very good too. Peaslake is a charming little village and perfectly situated for walkers (us) or mountain bikers (nearly everyone else)!
Location was perfect, building and grounds well presented, friendly and welcoming staff and a beautiful room, what more can you ask for, really excellent place to stay
Great hotel in a sleepy, quiet village. The room was spacious and clean. There is private parking which is secured with an electric gate. Breakfast was very nice with the choice of continental breakfast and cooked England breakfast. We felt very welcome as soon as we stepped through the door.
Lovely quiet B&B in a nice little village. Friendly greeting on arrival, clean room with all facilities we needed. Breakfast was nice and freshly cooked. Service excellent. The B&B is next to the pub - but a different business. We were warned that it closed early but hadn’t expected last restaurant orders at 7.00 pm and last drinks at 8.00 (it was Sunday). So worth checking pub hours if you don’t want to drive.
This is a fantastic hotel, extremely clean and comfortable, staff are so helpful but in particular Hannah went out of her way to ensure our stay was memorable, highly recommended and will return.

I would not hesitate to recommend this lovely hotel if you want somewhere peaceful to stay. It is situated in a lovely village with an inn / restaurant next door run as a separate business. A warm welcome, lovely spacious comfortable room and spotlessly clean. All of the staff are friendly and helpful and we enjoyed an excellent breakfast served very promptly. Good value for money and we would definitely return.

What a lovely surprise this small hotel was upon my arrival. I had a very warm friendly welcome and immediately shown to my room. This was large and beautifully decorated. It was spotlessly clean and fresh. The bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and I enjoyed relaxing in the very large bath. I was so pleased with the hotel that I stayed an extra night but I had to change from the larges and most luxurious room to the smallest room. This was still large enough for me but it does not have the large bath with shower only but this was more than I needed. Breakfast was also very well cooked and also the usual continental as well. It set me up for the day ahead. All the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Round the other side of the hotel is a bar restaurant which is owned by another company. I had my dinner there both nights which I thoroughly enjoyed and it was of very high standard. This complemented the hotel. The surrounding area is fantastic with lots of walks and cycling available. This is I beautiful area with lots of places to see. This hotel is in a quiet area and an ideal location. I highly recommend this hotel and I will be returning soon. All rooms are beautiful but if a larger room is available then take advantage and pay the small amount to upgrade.
Well done to the staff.
