The Earl of Doncaster Hotel
10/10 Excellent
"The decor throughout the hotel is somethIng to behold. Gorgeous original entrance to the lift, quirky decorations everywhere. It really added to the experience of a nights stay in a hotel. The rooms were very different from the norm and very clean. The staff were very upbeat and welcoming. We had a few long chats in the bar with the night shift manager. He was so good giving us a lot of historical info about the hotel and also the surrounding area. All in all, it’s a place we will defo be back to when next in the area."

"Lovely staff, nice breakfast and as clean as it could be when it clearly isn’t being kept in good repair. Bath all rusted and chipped. Couldn’t fault the staff though, super helpful and friendly!"

"This was a pleasant surprise. Thoroughly modern hotel with great facilities. Damon’s diner restaurant serves excellent food and you get a 15% discount as a hotel guest. A hidden gem!"

"Very nice location - in a wealthy enclave. Excellent footpath along a canal takes you most of the way into Lincoln (3-4 mile walk). Great pub, decent food. If you want up market restaurants, there are a few within a 5 minute walk in the neighboring area. Quite area, nice and clean."

"I liked the edge of town centre location, everything was walkable, the staff were very helpful and friendly The parking was good, but expensive at £11.25 per 24 hours I have stayed in many Holiday Inn Expresses's and the one thing that let this one down was the breakfast, when compared to elsewhere, the breakfast buffet itself was in a very cramped alcove and the selection wasn't that great."
