"Fantastic accommodation & service. We stayed in the cottage which had 2 double beds & a large shower room upstairs. Downstairs there was a large lounge with separate conservatory. A wonderful private garden with decking & sun loungers. We had breakfast & dinner in the hotel on both nights & the food was fantastic. "We really enjoyed our stay at the Golden Lion . We had our own car parking space . The breakfast was outstanding . Very hot plenty of it and delicious. The only downside was they didn’t do meals in the evening. But they are ready to recommend places that do great meals ie The Old Castle. We would definitely stay there again."

"As long as you go with realistic expectations you will be ok at the Lucarelli. We received a great welcome and we had a good nights sleep. The room was basic definitely no-frills but the TV gave good service, and all we needed was a stopover on a long journey. We were too tired to dine in the restaurant but I know from previous visits that the food and service is really good. It was certainly busy last night which is a good sign."

"The stay was decent in terms of beds and bathrooms etc, however one of our rooms was on teh top floor and the heating either wasn't working in the room or there was none. We were provided with an industrial fan heater, however couldn't leave this on when we were asleep/not in the room for safety reason so the room was absolutely freezing during the night. Ohter than that the stay was exactly what you'd expect for the money paid"

I really hope you are paying her enough because she is a gem! Nothing was too much trouble even won over my usually reserved, sons. So helpful , so attentive to all guests.
