Spotlessly clean hotel and everything thought about, would definitely stay again

Great location opposite the beautiful St May's church. Large room with comfortable bed. Good restaurant for evening meals and breakfast.

A very good location for Gloucester and Cheltenham attractions.On top of a hill overlooking the M5,which was noisy and windy,but you could not hear anything in the room,which was warm and cosy,with a decent bath.

Character hotel bordering miles of countryside. Comfortable large bed on top floor, with good breakfast. had already eaten on arrival so cannot comment on evening meal. Top floor room did have sloping ceiling, but no issue. Plenty of free parking and lovely quiet setting.

Super large refurbished room. Other rooms are currently being refurbished but this was not intrusive. Plenty of parking and excellent WiFi. Breakfast excellent. Restaurant at hotel but also plenty within walking distance.

I don't normally use superlatives but for this place I am prepared to make an exception. We stayed for two nights and from start to finish it was an excellent experience. The welcome was warm. All the staff were friendly and helpful. An excellent stay at an excellent property. Fantastic, central location. Very clean and very well kitted out. Don't be put off by the entry code not being available until a few days before you arrive.

Lovely dog friendly pub with rooms. Dog walk from car park into field behind. Very friendly staff and delicious food. Very clean, fresh bed linen. Great stop off. Would definitely recommend and will visit again.
