"The room was a disappointment. I was expecting a 4 star hotel. The room was barely 3 and the bathroom about 2. A very dated hotel that was more of a motel. Breakfast was ok but not great. Would not stay again."

"The staff were very friendly, welcoming and efficient. The food was very good. The hotel is very comfortable, well furnished and very quiet being a little remote. No outside noise and very little noise inside the hotel even with coach parties staying over. Looking forward to my next visit."

"Had to pay extra for using the spa facilities however we went down twice during our stay and you could have just walked straight in. Didn’t check if we had paid or not."

"This hotel was in the heart of Bowness and Windermere. The staff on the whole were fantastic and friendly. The room we had was very spacious and comfortable with a brilliant view of the lake. Breakfast was as expected for £15 "

We had booked room only and were still able to book a table for evening meal in the restaurant at check-in.The food quality, presentation and service in the restaurant were excellent. The bar area relaxing for an evening drink. Room was clean comfortable and had all the extras we needed for our stay. The hotel is conveniently located to access Keswick and the surrounding area. Would definitely stay again if spending time in the Keswick area."
