"Great hotel on the edge of town. We parked mid day with no problem and the desk is 24 hours so we left everything in the car and checked in just before midnight with no issue. They'd warned us that there was an event on that night but there was no noise or disruption that we could tell. The bed was the biggest I've seen - very comfortable. The shower was great - good pressure and temperature. The only slight negative was the really creaky floor - but that was probably worse for who ever was underneath us."

"Perfect for our overnight stay before getting the Harwich ferry. Staff friendly on check in which was ideal after an 8 hour trip to Colchester. Ideal for what we needed travelling with our wee one. Included breakfast was great and free parking was ideal. "

"What a gem of a hotel, situated right on the harbour with views across the marina.the staff were all so friendly and helpful, happily going above and beyond to provide 'wows'. We only had a standard room, but, in line with the whole hotel, it was beautifully and quirkily furnished, clean and well appointed. So lovely also to be served a top quality breakfast, without self service at a buffet. Not cheap, but highly recommended. Overall probably the best hotel experience I have had! We have no plans to visit Ipswich again, but I'd love to be able to move this place around to wherever I plan to visit. "
