"Good standard of hotel at an affordable price in a great and peaceful and friendly environment."

"I really enjoyed my stay here, the hotel was clean and tidy. It took a few minutes to be served at the bar at times but eventually I got served. My only problem was I booked a double room for myself, but the ed was 2 singles joined together. I understand why they do this but I could feel the gap in between the 2 beds and it felt like I was rolling into it all night. Other than the bed a great place to stay"

"No lift to rooms, not too much of a problem for us as only one flight of stairs. Room was very large and bed comfortable but was so hot, no air con on a very hot day which is understandable in England but the radiators were on. Biggest disappointment for us was breakfast, all self service and the cooked items looked like they had hardly seen the pan. For the price would have expected some cooked to order items."

"An amazing stay! 13th century building but rooms very modern. Staff excellent, extremely friendly and helpful. Came down late for breakfast on our 2nd day, no problem, a full English breakfast was provided for us. Fantastic, couldn't recommend highly enough. I'll be back. 10 out 10"
