I stayed here the evening before a flight out of Stansted, I assume like most guests. Overall it seemed like a good value and I'd stay here again.
A few things to note:
1) TRANSPORT: There's a shuttle that runs from Stansted to and from the hotel! It leaves from Bay 19 and runs about every half hour (4 GBP). I'm telling you because I couldn't find that info anywhere on the website and assumed I'd have to walk or taxi. It'd be nice if that was easier to find.
2) LIGHT AND AC for the room are controlled by your room card - so if you don't insert your room card into the slot next to the door, you'll be in the dark. Maybe that's common in the UK but it was new to me coming from the US, and I spent several minute navigating with the flashlight app on my phone before I figured it out.
3) ROOM was quite small and not in amazing shape (damage to countertop, marks on walls, etc). But everything seemed quite clean, which matters much more for me - especially if all I'm looking for is a place to rest my head.
4) BREAKFAST had a pretty solid selection including meat, eggs, toast & pastries, and cereal. Nothing to write home about but should be something for everyone. If you don't like the food there's an M&S attached to the gas station just across the street with a good selection.
Overall, it was just fine and I'd go back if it makes sense for a future trip.
