"A truly wonderful hotel, We had a lovely clean room and a fantastic view overlooking the swimming pool and sea, thank you so so much! I have been returning to this fabulous hotel for many, many years and have always received such a warm welcome and been made to feel incredibly special. A particularly heartfelt thank you to Eli and Patrick in the Casas Ducales who consistently go above and beyond to make every stay memorable, please never leave. Balas’ Daniel and Ziara are also fantastic, so a huge thank you to all of you for making each visit so special. This is certainly my favourite hotel in Europe. The food is fabulous, particularly in the Italian restaurant and the Brasserie. Donald at the Italian is always so friendly and welcoming, making you feel completely at home. Thank you to the entire team for your outstanding hospitality. We always look forward to returning!"

"We very much enjoyed our time. The people were lovely and trying to be very obliging. The entertainment staff was lovely. They had some construction going on. And as a result, the buffet restaurant shut down and moved to another location. that location was quite a walk, and it was down a hill. I don't think people want to walk 10 minutes.to have breakfast, and I do believe that construction should have been limited to perhaps only in the evening, but not in the daytime when you have customers visitors staying there. That was very inconvenient. Other than that. We had a very joyous time and enjoyed that resort. This was our first visit to Tenerife .We are from Canada"

"We have returned to the Abama to celebrate our anniversary. We have had a wonderful stay and have received nothing but exceptional service in all departments. A special mention to Fran and Isabelle who recovered my husband’s luggage with his medication as the wrong case was off loaded. Sorted out clothes for him and collected the case on our behalf from the airport. On our arrival cava and a sumptuous cake awaited us in our room. We had a lovely meal at the El Mirador on our anniversary with a personalised desert . I can’t thank the staff enough for a very memorable evening. We stayed in the adults only retreat which I can highly recommend,peaceful attentive pool staff who repositioned the parasol throughout the day and served drinks. The retreat facilities were lovely as were all the staff. Thank you to Iria for her kindness on our last day. Breakfast staff Tamara, Fabian, Adrienne, Elizabeth, Laura thank you for your cheery welcome and for knowing our names from the moment of our arrival. A visit you won’t forget and I am looking forward to our next stay. Excellent cocktails."

"Excellent 3 star property, apartment was large and clean, we had a lovely sea view. Did not mind paying daily for the sunbeds as this stops people just placing towels on them and going out for the day. All the staff in the apartments reception were lovely and also at the poolside bar / cafe. Great stay!"

"I’ve stayed at this hotel many times and it’s always my first choice when I’m in the area. I know what to expect here and generally always have a lovely stay. This time I did have a bit of an issue getting a late checkout. I had to push quite a bit for it, as initially the staff didn’t seem keen to allow it even though rooms were available. It was eventually sorted, which I appreciated. I then had a couple of issues with the key cards not working, but these were dealt with quickly and everything was sorted within around 15 minutes. Overall, still a lovely hotel and somewhere I’ll continue to come back to. The issues were a little frustrating at the time, but they wouldn’t stop me staying again."

"Superb hotel, great location for ourselves, 3rd time visiting and we love this hotel. Room was lovely and clean, we chose to overlook the pool area. Breakfast is outstanding, probably the best you can get. Staff and housekeeping are are great, super professional. I’d highly highly recommend this hotel, we couldn’t fault it."

Golf del Sur is a welcoming neighborhood. Golf del Sur has hotels to suit everyone's tastes, and makes a great home base for exploring the sights in and around San Miguel de Abona.
Sightseeing around Golf del Sur
Attractions like San Miguel Castle and Arona Pyramid highlight the local culture. Amarilla Hill, Medieval Adventure at Castillo San Miguel, and Guaza Hill are a few landmarks that can't be missed. Be sure to get some family photos at Camel Park, Jungle Park, and Siam Park.
You can spend a leisurely afternoon outside at The Red Mountain, Aloe Park, or Teide National Park. Cave of Santo Hermano Pedro, Los Cristianos Harbor, and Chayofita Hill are beautiful places to appreciate nature. If you've got some more time, you won't be disappointed by Golf del Sur Course, Golf Los Palos, and Los Palos Golf Center.
One of the most popular attractions in the area is the Los Cristianos Beach. La Tejita Beach, El Medano Beach, and San Antonio Abad of Arona Church are also favorite places to visit.
