"Rustic lodge in a peaceful rural setting. We loved the great views and thanks to the owner for her kind hospitality."

"The lodges are very well designed and attractive with good amenities, however it could do with a lot of TLC, the walls were all marked/scuffed, everywhere needed a good paint job. Wasn’t the cleanest of properties with debris on the floor downstairs which I hoovered up. Bedrooms neat and tidy with fresh bedding and towels. Jacuzzi was lovely and well maintained. Just a little more time spent on cleaning and maintenance and it would have been percect"

"This was my third time at The Warrens at Foxtail in less than a year. Lovely accomodation with great transport links with some luxury touches. Lots to do in the local area and a great hot tub to relax in at the end of the day. The staff are friendly and helpful and a mine of local information"

"We stayed in Tuilip Lodge for 4 nights as a little break visiting relatives in the locality. The lodge was bigger than expected and we loved the quiet countryside location There is a steep driveway up to the top of the hill it was worth it for the views. We explored the local area around Llangollen, Shrewsbury and had a day out to Chester which was about 50 minutes drive away. There are also plenty of pubs and restaurants nearby which saved cooking! "Lapwing is a beautiful, dog friendly lodge set along side of the canal, the first of 3 other lodges. Thereâ€™s ample parking. The enclosed decking area was perfect for our dog, who loved watching the boats pass and watching his human brother enjoy the private hot tub. The lodge has everything you need from towels, gowns, slippers, toiletries to dog essentials (bowls,blankets) to all your self catering needs."
