"One of the best family and regional small hotel we have visited in 20 years in Crete. They really are very small hotel, familial style but they do their best to provide high level services: multiple pool, breakfast, sun towels. Amazing quality for price. I rarely write reviews but their work needs to be recognized. "The food was school dinner in a huge hall - badly let’s the hotel down Swarms of flies around the pool - impossible to sit by the pool in the pm"

"Really enjoyed this hotel, staff were amazing Restaurant was very good"

"Rooms were spacious, clean and had beautiful views of Chania! The breakfast buffet was a real highlight with the range of food and the staff were so helpful. Great facilities such as onsite car rental and gym. Great free shuttle which helped us a lot. At times there was a lot of noise coming from the upstairs restaurant which wouldn’t stop until 12am. Rooms could’ve been soundproofed."

"The service was very attentive, convenient locations , delicious breakfast and very comfortable bed and room ."

"House keeping everyday."

"SO friendly. Helped with finding us drivers, Laundry dining and just overall helping us explore the area. We will stay here again!"

"Very nice, clean, friendly staff, good breakfast."

"Well located and friendly staff. Perfect for a night before an early flight."

"Best in Chania area"

"Good location for restaurants and close to a small beach, also enjoyed the spa."

"Highly recommend staying at Alcanea. Eva, our host, was incredibly helpful and friendly. The staff/service was great. And the complimentary breakfast offered lots of local options and all were delicious. Best part of this stay was the view and location. The view of the port was awesome with the water, local bars/shops, and mountains in the distance. And there were dozens of restaurants and shops offering all we might need/want. This hotel made Chania feel like home."

"Fantastic Hotel and great location."
