"This hotel was great. It brought you right back to the 1920’s. The Sylvia is a very historic building/hotel. We had a Suite with Kitchen. It was literally a one bedroom apt. Fully equipped kitchen. We made a full pasta dinner in our room one night. Flat screen TV in both the living room and bedroom. The rooms were fully updated and modern. Everything was very clean. The restaurant and bar was beautiful. The night my husband and I arrived was Canadian Thanksgiving. The restaurant offered a full Thanksgiving dinner. It was very traditional and lots of food. There was a full bar. The staff couldn’t have been nicer and very accommodating. The hotel is directly across the street from the beach. If we ever stay there again I would ask for a beach view. We had a partial beach view. Parking is underground and 25 USD per night. The area we were in had many restaurants."
