Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel

Mercure Hull Grange Park Hotel

8/10 Good
"The room was basic and appeared to have been made up in a hurry - wastebin liner not fitted to allow waste to be deposited and no teaspoons. The bed was very comfortable and the room was clean. There was evidence of repair work in the bathroom where different tiles had been poorly fitted - but it was clean and functional. The pizza served at dinner was as good as you would get anywhere in mainland Italy - obviously fresh and piping hot. Breakfast was excellent, a very good selection to serve all tastes, hot food hot and a good selection. Friendly and attentive staff, although a call to reception went unanswered for some while during a busy check-in period. The current drought conditions didn't show off the gardens to their full potential and paved walkways had quite a number of loose slabs."

White Hart Hotel

10/10 Excellent
"We had a fantastic stay at the White hart hotel . It is very centrally located. The room was spacious and very clean with a separate lounge area . We had a beautiful bathroom with double sink and dreamy Elemis toiletries which smelt divine . The bar area had a fantastic selection of drinks including really nice cocktails and had a lovely lively atmosphere. We had a fantastic nights sleep in the very comfy bed . The only downside was that our windows didn’t open and it did get slightly stuffy in the room . Breakfast was served in a beautiful airy light infused room . The selection was fabulous. There were fresh fruits, juice , pastries and cereals to start . There was a very extensive breakfast menu offering lovely local produce. We opted for a full English . It was beautifully presented and very tasty . The staff were all very friendly and attentive. We can’t wait to go back to this Gem"
