"The hut on the hill is stunning, as is the barn. The owners Mandy & David provided everything you could possibly need. Fresh white fluffy towels & dressing gowns/ eggs/ milk/ cake/ bread and a bed/ bowl/ leads& treats for our dogs. The hot tub was a wonderful temperature. The bed was comfy and the shower & loo brill. Both the hut and barn were decorated beautifully and all mod cons provided. The scenery was stunning & peaceful. Thanku to the owners soo lovely !"

"Our experience was perplexing from the start, with directions so inadequate that we had to ask the way. When we arrived I was attacked by geese at large in the grounds. Despite profuse apologies from the owner's wife, and the geese then confined to a wired pen, the owner said he wouldn't be lectured, walking away when I offered some advice on the facilities. "We really enjoyed our stay, The shepherds hut exceeded our expectations, well equipped, cosy and in a great private location overlooking the forest. The hut was so lovely and warm with central heating and a log burner, the bed was comfortable, and the fixtures and fittings looked brand new. Also the rainfall shower was a lovely surprise. The apartment was lovely though, looks like it's been recently refurbished and was very clean and comfortable. Kitchen was very well equipped with dishwasher and washing machine. £250 damage deposit seemed quite excessive.
