(374 reviews) We booked a suite for 4 people, however there was a problem with the shower, so they offered us 2 twin joined rooms. They discovered the problem with good notice to inform us before we arrived which was very appreciated. The room was clean and simple although dated and a little tired. Staff were all lovely. We requested an ironing board and iron and champagne flutes which were promptly delivered by the helpful staff. It did however take several attempts at calling down to reception before someone came to the phone. Baked breakfast goods and cereals were basic and simple, yet fresh. There was an option for a cooked breakfast also, which a couple of our party opted for, which was hot, tasty and came promptly. We were the only guests in the dining hall when we came down. The grounds were lovely, and there is a beautiful oak staircase inside which makes for good photos. Would stay again, but I think it was slightly over priced, for what it was.
