"My daughter came in with serious jet lag and I kept misplacing my key card (or forgetting to bring the card when exiting my room😬). The staff members were gracious each time I went to get another key card. Polite and courteous behavior every time I interacted with them from the front desk to the cleaning crew. The price was also about 1/3 the amount compared to neighboring hotels. Lastly, how cool is it to be 5 stories underground "

"Bloomsbury Palace was just what we were looking for. As first time visitors, we were out sight seeing all day. The location is excellent - a four minute walk to a useful stop and a 7 or 8 minute walk to the tube station for the Picadilly/airport line. The included breakfast was a big plus - we like to eat a good early meal so as to devote as much time as possible to see the city. The hotel is no frills. The climb to the 3rd floor (essentially 6 flights) was not enjoyable but this was a one time ordeal. "

"Overall stay was outstanding with excellent staff, housekeeping and easy in check in / check out. Though I did not get anything in lunch ( all days of stay) which can suit an Indian vegetarian. However I got good variety in breakfast thanx to Indian staff working there. "

"My room was spacious and comfortable and far enough away from the pub to be very quiet. Pub on the ground floor was welcoming and had excellent food and drink options. Having a roof terrace was a great bonus. Staff were extremely helpful and accommodating. Location was fabulous with two tube stations very close by and the area around the pub was bustling with pub and wonderful shopping options nearby. The neighbourhood was lovely and very walkable with many London attractions within walking distance. Price was comparatively very reasonable. The Grafton Arms greatly enhanced my short visit to London and I would happily stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone."

"Good property in excellent position close to Tottenham court tube station. Staff are helpful and breakfast is very good. Only negative is that the rooms are getting dated and need a renovation. We have had the same room for the last 2 years."

"Pros: Hotel was situated in an area which felt safe and was surprisingly quiet. Our room was clean and had convenient shelving which we used to keep our luggage organized. The bathroom was well lit and the shower had great water pressure and plenty of hot water. Very easy walking to a Tesco express, Starbucks, Chipotle, Goodge Street station and bus stops. And while the major attractions aren’t super close, they are walkable if necessary (we ended up walking back to the hotel from Westminster one evening after waiting for a bus that never came). It was wonderful to find a room in London which fit our family of five on a budget. Staff was very friendly and were there to open the front door for us to check in after 11PM when we arrived later than expected due to train difficulties. Cons: Really can’t think of any. Overall, we would recommend the Ridgemount Hotel to any family on a budget looking to visit London. "
