"Overall room was clean however there were crumbs left on bedside table, bed was too hard for our taste, took a long time to fall asleep due to intermittent rumbling outside. Were woken early with road noise. Have stayed in this hotel before and slept better as was a river facing room on a higher floor. "

"The window in our room did not open at all, not even the teensiest crack. 1. Heaven help you if you're trapped in there in the event of a fire. 2. This means you're at the mercy of the aircon, which is never a good thing. The veggie sausages at breakfast were sad refugees from the 90s... texture and taste of sawdust. Could do better. Other than that; all good! Staff were friendly and helpful. Location perfect for us. Didn't use the spa so can't comment on that. "
