Relaxing stay in great location
Had a fantastic week in Easter holidays. We were 2 families of 4, and there was plenty of room. Bedrooms were good size and beds were really comfy. Kitchen very well equipped - and also looked well set up for families with younger children too. Family space was great, nice big garden. Lovely tranquil setting - we enjoyed spotting the pheasants and deer in the garden. Great location - close to some gorgeous beaches and local attractions. Nearby Thai takeaway from local pub was very good. One thing to note - property description says there is a hot tub and this is not correct. It was not something that we would have used anyway though, so not a problem. TV reception sometimes a bit patchy, but again this did not really bother us. Overall, a great stay in a great location.

We have been letting the house for four years on Vrbro and have never changed our property details so whilst i am glad that it was not a feature that helped you choose us, I am sorry that you were misinformed! Lovely house
A lovely house, in a lovely setting. We saw deer,pheasants,partridges and a hare in the garden. The house is well kitted out with everything you need. The rooms are large and bright. The beds are so comfortable. Would be happy to spend more holidays there!

Location and house overall nice
Nice peaceful location within easy driving distance of main attractions. Good size property, lots of space for large family to spread out, plus decent sized areas to relax or eat in the lounge and dining areas. Well equipped, including BBQ, extra fridge, garden games, and dvds etc. Only a few minor things in need of attention to make this swiss style chalet into a five star.

Wonderful stay
The house was in an ideal location with lots of things to do nearby for adults/children. The house itself was well looked after with a lovely garden area and trampoline which was well used by the children. The house itself was very child friendly with safety gates provided, a cot, high chairs and toys. When contacted, the owners were quick to reply. Unfortunately, one shower could not be used as the door was wedged shut but this was communicated to the owners. The overall cleanliness of the property was very good but the showers could have been a little cleaner. Would definitely return again, thank you very much for our stay!

Lovely lodge and location

Lovely House & Garden
Had lovely stay, inside sofas and beds/bedding needs updating. Showers dated and leaks repaired poorly and ugly. House would have been great around 3-4 years ago but for us the comfort factor wasn’t there sorry guys.

Had a lovely quiet and peaceful stay, in this lovely house, everything you could possible need was available to use Including washing machine, children’s outside games. Excellent location for visiting all the lovely picturesque villages and coastlines along the Norfolk coast. If anything a negative, the downstairs shower room is in need of updating, upstairs is immaculate. Just another idea, is a sign as you come down north road to say turn right for lodges.

Fantastic house

Great cottage in a lovely quiet location
The property was big and fitted 7 in without everyone being on top of one another. The water was hot and plentiful for everyone and once the heater kicked in it was warm and toasty. We had a Muntjac deer and barn owls as guests and loved watching them in the garden and even got a glimpse of a baby deer. The only downside was the ensuite shower, as the showerhead needed replacing as it was a trickle. But other than that a great place to stay.

Lovely winter break
Amazing location and property, it was incredibly clean and spacious yet cosy, communication with the owner was brilliant there were lots of lovely little touches at the property including fresh flowers and lots of games and a lovely big garden. Our family of 5 thoroughly enjoyed our week and hope to return.

Tranquil & relaxing stay
Really enjoyed staying at Sentinel Lodge - it was myself & my wife (plus mum for a few days) there was plenty of room for more guests but it was nice to have the luxury of plenty of space. All facilities were very good as were comms with the host. The area is very quiet and peaceful but would possibly be a little isolated without a car…with one it was easy to reach lots of towns & villages with various sites of interest.

Everything we needed for a great holiday
We had a great stay at Sentinel Lodge. It was comfortable and we'll appointed with everything we needed and more - the children especially enjoyed playing with the animatronic dinosaur and on the trampoline and swings! It also had a great outdoor space and was well located for day trips to the beach. Thank you very much for the use of your lovely house.

A very pleasant stay
A lovely, well appointed property in a peaceful location. A family group of seven people recently enjoyed a nice holiday in this accommodation. The house was clean, spacious and contained most of what we needed. Good weather meant the house retained a lot of warmth and a few fans particularly in the bedrooms would have been a benefit. We had a small issue with the downstairs shower as this took longer than usual to drain away. Seating in the living room was ample but was not very supportive. We noted the inclusion of a Tassimo machine. However, on plugging it in and trying the cleaning cycle, nothing happened. Perhaps, a new fuse may be needed. Also, one of the patio lights was not working. Only minor hiccups but nothing serious. All in all a very pleasant stay and, should we return to the area, we would not hesitate to re-book. Many thanks.

Perfect Location
Sentinel Lodge is an excellent place to stay with the family. Can't fault the inside or the outside. The big spacious downstairs and bedrooms are just perfect. The lodge is ideally placed for trips to the coast or other attractions that are nearby. If you need anything Spencer is an excellent host and will deal with anything straight away. Highly recommended.

Sentinel Lodge,Thursford.
Nice large roomy house, large safe garden, with play area, swings and trampoline. Had everything thing a family needs.. Lots to see and do in the area, with a good central location. There was so many things we saw, but never had the time time to do, would need more than a week. We shall return.

Lovely house and garden
This is a spacious house , 5 of us stayed . There is Room for 8 people , but bear in mind that two of these beds are bunk beds . House had a lovely garden , and very handy gas bbq. The gas ran out when we were here there and the owner very kindly came and changed it for us , which was much appreciated .

Amazing Holiday!!!
What a lovely home, which my family and I thoroughly enjoyed! The garden is large and great for the kids to entertain themselves and I appreciated the open aspect of the lay out which enabled us to prepare food while keeping an eye on the kids. It is set in a lovely quiet cul-de-sac and has everything to fulfil a families requirements. I would highly recommend, as it is the perfect location to enjoy many great beaches and attractions. Thank you to Spencer for his prompt responses and we hope to return next year!

Lovely holiday house very clean and tidy everything you could possibly need. Comfy beds and great linen. Only slight thing I would say is Bedroom Curtains could do with being heavier to block out the light as the children wake up very early due to light weight curtains. We had a great holiday. Wow! Amazing!
This place is amazing, beyond expectations. Certainly has the ‘Wow factor’ which was expressed loudly by my family as we walked in, so it’s a good thing that it is also set a good distance from neighbouring properties! The rooms are very spacious and everything was spotlessly clean. The kitchen had everything needed to prepare meals for my large family and we were all very comfortable. This is in an ideal location for exploring central Norfolk. Communication with the owner was excellent. Thank you for everything.

We had a great time in Norfolk. The house is very well equipped and our 5 kids loved the trampoline and big garden. Beautiful beaches nearby, a lovely welcoming church at fakenham (faith church) followed by a great calvery at the crown in Fakenham, and a fab seal watching trip with temple seal trips at Blakeney point made for a brillant holiday. Good location some snags that could easily be put right.
Kitchen well equipped. On the whole happy but house needs a bit of attention. Curtains hung properly, blind in master bedroom broken, hot and cold water wrong way round in the master bedroom. Garden lacking in flowers pots of flowers would be nice. Master bathroom roof needs attention. No matches for candles. Crack in wall going up stairs. Men can’t stand up to use toilet in upper bathroom. We did however enjoy our stay in the house. Had nice walks and trips and the children loved the garden so thank you.

Great location for getting about North Norfolk
Great space in a house that was well set up for families with kids of all ages. Kitchen really well stocked with all that you’d need. Sky kids a bonus! Holkham is 25mins away, Blakeney 15mins, Cromer 35mins by car. Only thing I would change would be to have the grass cut so that the little ones could enjoy the garden- but that is nit picking. It was a really great house and location and the owner was extremely responsive and helpful.

Lovely house in a great spot
We had a fab week, the house and garden are ideal for a family with energetic kids, whilst being fully equipped with all you’d need for a great stay. The house sits in a lovely little scheme which appears purpose built for short-term holiday lets, without it ever feeling like you’re intruded upon by a single neighbour. It’s a short drive to lovely beaches, villages and pubs, and I could see us returning in future.

All the comments from people who stayed before us I can only retariate.House comfortable and spacious for seven.Garden for the children boys 9 and 11 brilliant,for grown ups very relaxing.Location ,,with car perfect. The communication with Spencer was 1st class,any thing that we told him wasn't quite righthe rectified immediatly. Für Deutscher familien die ein Urlaub im England antreten wollen,ich kann diesen Haus absolute rekemendieren.
