"Property is as they say. Right on the water. Just take a few stone steps down a hill to a fireplace platform then from there a few more to the lake. The house had everything we needed other then lids for bowls/plastic wrap/baggies for leftover food. But that was poor planning on our part. Rooms were nice and spacious. "After a little problem getting in, what a Great and Relaxing stay. The house was exactly as advertised. The bathroom with BIG walk-in shower was fantastic. The bed was the most comfortable we have had at several VRBO location we have stayed. Circular stairs we had to get use to, but really not a problem. "My boyfriend and I stayed one night in the cottage and had the best time! The location was great and close to downtown. I loved that she had a coffee pot, coffee, and creamer set out, and also had shampoo, conditioner, and dishes to use. The space was a good size and the temperature was comfortable. The lake wasn’t visible due to the dense trees in the wooded area on that side of the house, but a trek down the hill took us to a small gravel lakeside (beach?) that has some good sized boulders placed for seating. Good times in the morgue
"Wonderful stop on our family vacation. My daughter was somewhat an expert already having watched probably every paranormal YouTube video about this place. The hotel has been remodeled so nicely that it easily beats any in the area. The piano music in the dining hall could be better, maybe just don’t amplify it. We liked the games outside and the haunted tour was really fun. My wife said that was the most comfortable bed on our entire cross-country road-trip. Highly recommend staying here and take the haunted tour!"
