"Cons: Property is old and in need of updating. I was in building 15 and the FLOORS creak so badly it wakes everyone up. No good if you have babies and no good when everyone is tired. All furniture shows wear and staining. The showers don’t drain and are hard to figure out and one shower super tiny. No directions for anything. "Loved the location 2 min walk to Waverely station. I liked that it wasn’t in the royal mile district and has the shopping mall across the street. Also had a view of Caldon hill from our window. Front desk was very friendly and let us check in early. Suite was a bit tired inside compared to pictures but wasn’t a problem at all and very clean. No water in the room but there was milk for tea. Would highly recommend"

"We stayed for 2 nights in Milan--the room was spacious, clean and we loved the standalone tub for a relaxing bath at the end of the day. The bed was very comfortable. The location was amazing; right smack in the middle and walkable to everything. We wouldn't have been able to do so much in Edinburgh for a 2 night stay had it not been for the amazing location. There is an incredible amount of dining options near the hotel that is not "touristy". Would definitely stay again."
