"We had a great 2 night stay. The cottage is very well equipped with all the basic necessities you need. It’s in a quiet location which was nice to come back to after spending a whole day in the city. We used Ubers to get back and forth which we had no issues or long wait times considering the location. We would most definitely return. Thank you!!"

"We were a group of 15 that stayed for 2 nights celebrating a birthday, the house was well equipped, theres plenty of room so we weren't all living on top of ech other, great scenery really peaceful, and was so close to home just a half our drive but felt like we were miles away, would defo recommend this place"

"We were a group aged nine to eighty. There was a lot on offer to cater for us all. There were nine of us and the place was big enough for us to spread out and enjoy varying activities. A bus stop outside going into Edinburgh was a bonus. Would highly recommend it. Does Scotland proud!"

"We loved the location (we were aware of the parking potentially being problematic, but parked outside house all stay) and being on a hill didn’t cause us any problems. It was worth it for the view alone! The property has retained its charm whilst having all mod cons and everything we needed. The host was so accessible, but we didn’t need anything. The train ride into Edinburgh was easy, even with the dog."

"We arrived after hellish drive up from Somerset with grandparents, young adults, and lively dogs and settled immediately. Good quality places with everything we needed, quiet, with easy access to beautiful beaches, history, Edinburgh and North Berwick. "

"We loved our stay, and were even a little surprised at just how good everything was! Although Ratho is close to the suburbs of Edinburgh, it feels very much like being in the middle of the country when you arrive. The cottage is set in 20 acres of lovely woodland, and the grounds are full of trees and nature. We watched birds, squirrels, highland cows and the resident Shetland pony and donkey from the house.
