"The toilet was so high up i couldn't do a sh*t. I'm six foot tall, but when I was sat on the toilet my feet were not touching the ground. Overall, the place was pretty bleak, e.g. no mirror in the bedroom to check my outfit, only one pillow so I got neck ache in bed, no towel rail or hooks anywhere in the bathroom so couldn't hang up a towel, no hook in the bedroom to hang up a coat, no toilet roll holder. These things are not expensive to install. The bathroom floor was a bit dirty when...

"We had a brutal walk to get the hotel from the train station. That had more to with too much souvenir shopping but it did make getting there unpleasant. The hotel was a great place to stay. Nice sized rooms right in the royal mile. I will definitely stay here again. But next time I will hire a taxi to get there."
