"Great hotel full of character. Next to the river and a short walk into the main town. Parking available at the back of the hotel. Staff were great, always friendly. Rooms differ from modern to very old. Rates are reasonable and the breakfast delightful. Have stayed here many times always good."

"We found the Chapter House very comfortable. I slept well as the room (no. 4) was very quiet and the bed was so comfortable. Easy walk into town and near bus stops. Very close to the cathedral. The breakfast was excellent and the staff were lovely. Wouldn't hesitate to return."
