"The hotel is conveniently situated in central Salisbury. The rooms are clean and comfortable but not easily accessible for the infirm . I did not eat there as there was a wedding and the kitchen was closed."

"We were attending a wedding at the hotel and on the day the electricity went off. It was completely out of the hands of the hotel but the staff worked tirelessly to ensure the wedding reception could go ahead. There was no power from 6am until late into the evening but somehow they kept everything on track and the event was a huge success. How they managed to serve such high quality food under the circumstances I don’t know. I’m sure they were all exhausted by the end of the day, but thank you for all your efforts!!"

"We stayed twice in quick succession, the first room was very small, but the second room was quite nice. It is an 800 year old building so not everything is perfect, but the food and service is great. The bathrooms were clean in both rooms. Parking is half a block away, so you need to plan out the unloading/loading a bit, that turned out to not be a big deal, but not expecting that caused us to spend quite a bit of extra time initially."

"What a beautiful hotel. It’s a great location as not far from the New Forest. The staff are lovely & helpful. It’s dog friendly which is why I booked it. Breakfast was amazing & they brought a sausage for my dog. I would definitely stay here again"

"Unique room in a converted 1885 wagon was fun! But pretty rustic, don't expect big luxury. No toiletries (soap) were provided, but there were towels. The pub has good pizza!"
Old Mill Salisbury

"Well presented period property, tons of character, situated on the River Avon. 20 mins level walk through the water meadows right into the centre of Salisbury, lovely quiet location. On site restaurant, good selection of real ales, limited parking on site. Rooms are clean, comfortable beds and lovely en-suite facilities. Staff are friendly and have good local knowledge. Will definitely stay here again."
