"Great location and walkability. Staff/Service: Welcoming and warm, Cheewan at reception was lovely! We had drove straight out from a morning arrival at Heathrow, my husband was not feeling well and the hotel had been fully booked the night before. They were able to rush our room for 12pm (check-in is 3pm) for £ 20 GBP. Guestroom: we booked a standard and had requested ground floor, this was met. Very clean, spacious and adequately furnished, bed was comfortable. Coffee pot/kettle in-room with accompaniments. Bathroom amenities was very lacking; only one pump dispenser of Bath gel/shampoo (combined), no conditioner. One pump dispenser on the wall by the sink of hand wash (both dispensers 1/3 full, no hand/body lotion. Plenty of towels set on towel-warmer rack and very clean bathroom. Car park: The hotel has a small lot but we did not luck out with a spot during our stay. There are 7 spots, 3 of which are for Electric Vehicles only (beware not to park in these if your car is not EV, police will issue a violation/ticket). Because we arrived on a Sunday, street parking was free and we were able to park right up front and good until 8am the next morning. There are two public parking lots nearby, the next day we parked in the Brown St. Car park around the corner. There is a machine that you can pay with a credit card or you can download the MiPermit app which worked great for me (iPhone) and used Apple pay with it. "This is such a charming inn that has been around for over 800 years, which means you are in an old building with no lift and small, winding hallways. These features add to the charm. Our room was spacious and comfortable. My son slept on a sleeper sofa that had the best mattress I've ever seen on a sofa bed and the towels were the softest I've ever had. There's a nice continental breakfast and the cooked to order breakfast was delicious! We also had dinner at the restaurant one night and it too was super yummy. The location was perfect for exploring Salisbury. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Salisbury."

"We had a lovely stay. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was comfortable and clean. We had breakfast included, I'm so glad that we did, the cooked choice was really good, including my partner's favourite chopped avocado. There was also a good buffet selection, I really enjoyed the blackcurrant and yoghurt pot and the fresh fruit pot."

"It was difficult to access the room, I would have preferred a manned reception area as everything needed code to open. First the front door then the e key safe, and all instructions by phone. Maybe I’m just old fashioned but it’s nicer to talk face to face. But the apartment was great."

"The White hart is a listed building built around 1617s. It has the charm and oddities of a very old building. We have stayed several times and the rooms are comfortable and clean. Location in the town centre and free parking. Perfect. Meals are of a high standard and breakfast excellent. Free wifi throughout the building and staff are very helpful. Our first option is the White Hart when visiting the area. One comment though, the carpet around the hot drinks area could do with an oil change, lol."
