"The room was clean, fairly comfortable bed but the shower was appalling. The shower unit was one of those where you turn the dials for on/off and temperature, mainly used in cafe toilets. The water trickled very slow and it was luke warm or cold and kept stopping mid flow. It has to be the worst shower I've ever come across in the last thirty plus year's of travel. I reported the problem to reception but nothing was done to fix it. The location of the hotel is good but it needs major modernising and updating. All in all I was not very impressed."

"We had such a lovely stay at this Hotel. The sea view from our room was absolutely amazing — waking up right in front of the pier made the whole trip feel extra special. The location is perfect, with everything just a short walk away. The staff were excellent throughout our stay and went above and beyond to help us. Parking was full when we arrived, but one of the staff kindly offered us his own parking space, which we truly appreciated. That level of kindness and customer service made a big difference. Breakfast was delicious and everything cooked well. Honestly, I cannot fault our stay at all. We left feeling relaxed, happy, and already wanting to come back. Highly recommend!"

"Staff are always lovely. Most have been there years. We had breakfast and evening meals on our 3 night stay. Always good quality food of generous portions. The room was quiet, comfy bed, clean, good quality linen etc. Bathroom although clean, could do with an update. Shower was over bath which is not great, shower screen didn't do anything and water was over floor. The bath panel was ruined because of water ingress. Wouldn't stop me staying again, its probably one if the nicest hotels in area, I've stayed in other rooms which have normal shower."

"The hotel was clean, the room was modern and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely. However, we were unable to use the pool because the pump had broken that day. Given that the pool was the reason why we chose that hotel this was disappointing. That said, when I raised the issue with management, they were polite and offered a reasonable partial refund, so very positive. My main area of complaint however, is that check in was not until 4pm and check out was at 11am. Why should it take 5 hours to clean a room? This wasn't mentioned prior to booking, neither was an additional charge for use of the car park. Cost for 3 rooms for one night was in excess of £500. I would have expected the car parking to be free. "

"Really nice breakfast with friendly staff. Executive room had an amazing view but annoyingly the 3rd doesn’t have a lift which isn’t great with a baby. Layout of the hotel is quite confusing"

"Room not the best we've stayed in, no shelf in bathroom for our toiletries, towel rail fell off, wardrobe door wouldn't close. Decor throughout needs updating ( in all fairness the hotel has just been taken over) and renovations are on going. Breakfast fairly hot ( buffet style) didn't have a dinner so can't comment."
