"My husband, knowing how much we both love the Cotswolds, booked this cottage as a last-minute surprise, to wrap up our trip to the UK, to celebrate my birthday. What an absolute delight to spend an evening at Sunnybank Cottage. I was smitten from the moment we walked in. Beautifully appointed, wonderful location, and an absolute highlight in a busy agenda. I so wish we would have had more time to linger. I spent about 10 minutes just gazing across the picturesque landscape. It was a perfect...

"Whilst the ManorHouse would sleep the number advertised, and certainly has enough crockery and cooking equipment to manage comfortably, we found the whole place to be cramped. Most bedrooms had one or more bed than was comfortable, there actually isn’t enough sofa space for everyone, and the dining table is difficult to use due to being so close to the wall, with no space to move it out. Top West Oxfordshire District Hotel Reviews

Kings Arms Hotel

10/10 Excellent

"A very nice hotel with a lovely clean room and an excellent chef. Blenheim Palace is a ten minute walk away so the perfect location."

Heythrop Park Hotel - Adults Only

10/10 Excellent

"Beautiful hotel set in 400 acres — ideal for a Cotswold escape. Loved the grounds and the calm atmosphere. Room was comfortable, a bit dated in places but very clean. Service was good. Would recommend for couples looking for space and nature, not city-centre nightlife."

Macdonald Bear Hotel

8/10 Good

"Hotel is excellent in anytime location and clean and well presented. The room was well appointed and difficult to fault. However the bar was disappointing with limited choice of draft beers (only two lagers) and no atmosphere. The breakfast was extremely poor and prompted us to cancel our evening meal due to the quality of cooking. Bacon like leather, mushroom shrivelled and dry, poached eggs hard each day and waited too long for the breakfast. Improve the food and we would return as the hotel is lovely."
