Our group had a fantastic stay at neam tree, everything from the beautiful hospitality, amazing food and fabulous location being so close to yala. Would highly recommend to anyone considering a stay near yala.

The views over the valley, the tea plantations and agricultural land are fantastic. The villa is set up on a hillside, about 3km out of town. It takes approximately a 10 min tuk tuk drive into town. The staff are absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The hotel is beautifully presented, mostly made in wood and looking very smart. The room and bathroom were large, clean and well presented. The whole place is beautiful an dis surrounded by beautiful countryside.

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. Everything about this hotel was fantastic! Staff and service was excellent. Staff were attentive and anticipated our needs without being intrusive. Facilities were of a high standard and included everything we needed. The outdoor pool was exceptionally enjoyable. WiFi was excellent - both in the room and at the pool. It’s worth booking a club Horizon room as the lounge is worth every penny.

Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. Worth it for the pool alone. Lovely staff. Good food. Its a trip to get there and only with good weather for the roads but once there its like the garden of eden with a banging infinity pool and views over sri lanka

We stayed at the Poomaz Peace palace for 3 nights. The accommodation is within minutes of the main street and because of the close proximity you can hear the live music each night. However the music usually does stop by 23:00. The room was spacious and clean and offers a fridge, kettle, hair dryer, soap, towels and has a shared balcony where breakfast is served each morning. Had a brilliant two nights and three days at this hotel. The staff were super helpful and friendly. The level of service was superb and the best I have encountered in Sri Lanka and almost anywhere. We had an exceptional stay at Turtle Bay. From start to finish, the service was a consistent **5-star experience**; every staff member went above and beyond, and we were honestly gutted to only be staying for one night. First of all, congratulations and well done to all the Fox resort Kandy. If you want to stay at a truly beautiful and pristine hotel in Kandy then Fox resort will certainly fit the bill. Perched on top of Richmond hill about 10 - 15 mins or so Tuk Tuk / taxi ride from hustle of the city (we paid between 600 - 800 LKR for most journeys in and out of the city). Thambu Illam is a peaceful sanctuary hidden away in Jaffna. With four lovely rooms in a gorgeous courtyard property, it’s a wonderful space to relax after a day’s exploring. The pool is lovely, the accommodation comfortable and the location perfect. But best of all is the service: Chandranathan and his team are truly fantastic - helpful, friendly and always on hand to make your stay as good as it can be. I would highly recommend Thambu Illam and hope to go back one day!

This is truly a lovely hotel, with a great pool and beach front. Rooms are spacious and comfortable and grounds are very well maintained. Entrance feels grand and welcome us very warm. Great kids club. Would definitely return if I had the opportunity. Only minus I experienced was the upselling (day trips, spa treatments) during breakfast. While this may work well with some of the clientele, I found this quite annoying.
