Excellent stay at the Bartizan, the staff were amazing and went above and beyond, rooms were clean and modern with excellent air conditioning. Breakfast was outstanding. Great location, overall the perfect place to stay in Galle.

Nice hotel very clean price ok for the area good bfast service superb very helpful only downside is the steep hill from the road to the hotel but they have a bell on the gate post and a tuk tuk will take you up Once on site the views are fantastic and the infinity pool is an added bonus

We loved Dream Villa! It is a beautiful building right in the middle of Galle- you cannot ask for a better location! The room was great, big comfy bed and good a/c. Service was great (we checked in with a young guy who did not speak a lot of English but he was so nice and helpful) and the breakfast was delicious. Thank you Dream Villa!

Sri Lankan Villa was one of the best places we stayed in Sri Lanka, and the cleanest. Everything in the villa had been thought through, and our stay was so comfortable and easy. Lovely balcony too for relaxing. The location was perfect - close to Koggala lake, the beach, our favourite little Café Wave (try the hot lava cake), the railway line, and even the little road the villa was on was quiet and good for an evening wander. Highly recommended.

The accommodation itself was fantastic, with very tastefully done rooms with lovely bathroom and outdoor seating area. The breakfast was also amazing and worth the stay just by itself!!! Finally, the customer service was second to none - nothing was tom much trouble for the hosts.

If your looking for a relaxing five star experience at an excellent price with unbelievable service this is the place for you. Can't recommend this quiet boutique hotel enough. This property is in an excellent position, 5mins to Hikkaduwa by tuk tuk and 40mins by bus to Galle. It is away from all tourism, quiet and relaxing. The locals in the area are very friendly and always say Hello, Good Morning when they see you or just give you a wave. It has much to do nearby and the beautiful private beach is only 5mins away.

Beautiful property on great stretch of Kabalana beach. It was really nice walking along the long stretch of beach and having a dip in the warm and clear water. The king size bedroom was big, clean and very comfortable. The pool area was relaxing with comfortable sun beds with a great view of the beach and also direct access. We enjoyed eating lunch at the pool area with some of the best king prawns we had, deep fried in panko breadcrumbs. Everything we had for lunch and breakfast was good...

We spent six nights at the Asian Jewel and found it a wonderfully restful place to stay, with lovely gardens and a small clean swimming pool. We had the “Kingfisher” room which allowed wonderful views of the lagoon from the really large balcony. The restaurant offers really excellent Sri Lankan and western food. My wife and I spent four nights at this hotel and we were treated to a lovely suite overlooking the ocean. The trip was mainly planned to relax from the busy work life and this hotel delivered this perfectly. The seas were a bit rough at this time of year, so we had a brief dip at Jungle beach which is a 5 min walk from the hotel. There is a hotel in relatively small spot (100m) between 4 lane highway and rail. A breakfast served was constant, so if you're an egg fan - welcome You need to cross 4 lane road to reach the beach. The beach is perfect both for swimming and surfing There is no SPA

Great little guest house right in the beach. The owners really did their best to make my stay as comfortable as possible. Close to Galle (20 rupee on the bus) but not amongst the tourist throng.
